You guys are killing me. I really missed this more than I realized. It’s been a while since I’ve smiled as I typed, but that’s all I do around here ???

Thanks so much for everything - everyone.

I'm not sure I like this new format.....................

It's hard to figure out what posts are new within the thread. Forum page let's you know that there are new posts - but once you're actually in the thread page you can't tell. All titles are in bold fonts.

I'm also not crazy about the limited time you have to edit a post - this would have gone into the above but it was already closed for editing................

i.e.
  • General Form shows there are new posts in the Angler's Lounge
  • you go into that section & there is nothing to tell you what/where the new posts are
  • everything is in a bold font
that & my head is round...................

I wasn't expecting this today I wanted to give you folk's a heads up. I appreciate all of your feedback. I personally like this clean and open look but it doesn't take much to change it.

Just as I did back in the early days of the web, I plan to bring you the most cutting edge technology available. By weeks end Alexa will be able to give you all of the current sportfishing regulations. Soon after you will get bouy weather, NOAA weather as well as tide and current information provided by my good friend Randy of tidesnearme It will also be built into your profile page.

Then come the fishing reports, Alexa, Website. emailed and text!

It's still easy to get around, just set your bookmark to the page you use most. I set mine on New Posts, it was active topics on the old NE.
There are links on the New Post page that will take you anywhere.

Way to go! ?

George - unable to tell what posts were added to a thread since you were last there - previously new posts where in bold font - read ones were not. Can something be done about that or am I missing something?

jpd - what's a bookmark?

Something is funky when posting a reply with a quote ...... it ends up in the middle of the thread instead of "most recent post" ?
