Agreed, when I weed whack crabgrass, close relative to Bermuda Grass, the smell is nowhere as lingering as the other grasses and weeds...

That was always of paradox to me. We spend hours and money on getting rid of crabgrass up North, and then some of us run down to FL and go out of their way to nurture the stuff. Go figure...

Must be why I hardly smell my zoysia. But not having to fertilize, fungicide, herbicide, grubicide or water more than once or twice a summer makes up for any fragrance !!

Brine on the street kept the road snowless, and my deck, patio and walks are just wet, snow all melted. Just have to brush off a windshield and go as even the hood and roof melted.
