Please don't take this the wrong way, but anyone know if there is a way to donate fishing tackle that will go DIRECTLY to underprivileged kids in my area ? I am talking Roosevelt, Hempstead, North Amityville, etc. I know I can drop off in "certain" locations herein and elsewhere, but the average household in East Setauket as an example, earns $202,000 annually, with the median being a "low" $154,000.

I agree it would be nice to help out some kids that could use help to get them interested in fishing

They are supposed to relax the COVID protocols soon. Are we still limiting to 1,000?? What if you want to go to your car to drop stuff off? Do you have to wait on line again??

I have taken the shuttle bus from a church parking lot the last two times. It started at 10am. Hopefully they use the same lot again.

There will be a free shuttle bus starting at 10 AM and running till 3 pm this bus will bring you back and forth from the FULL GOSPEL CHRISTIAN CENTER on old town rd (east side of the road off of 347 and Old Town) to the main entrance. We know when our lot gets full that parking is difficult but we would like to remind you that you can park at then elementary school on Norwood Ave (which is in walking distance) and would ask you not to park in the funeral home or Jewish center parking lots. Thank you.

Hoping the WM school district does this in time. I hate wearing a mask and actually, have gotten away with useless gaiters and bandannas all along anyway.

If they do that, maybe they will drop the 1,000 people limit too. It would make sense.
