So right before Calverton cemetary on the North side theres a guy selling bird houses and flags and a few other things me n Jenn turned around and stopped I was looking for something small to leave by Dads Grave He didnt have anything small but he gave me a small American flag to leave for Dad we chatted for a bit he was a nice guy Mom met us at the cemetery and I told her about the guy who gave me the flag she stopped on the way home and bought a bird house from him and I will too next time I go there

It's amazing how long it takes to get a name on the grave.........

We buried my mom in June @ Holy Sepulchre in Coram. The grave is still unmarked.
They cashed my check like 4 months ago.

They told us 60 days for the head stone Its a few days over 60 It sucks going there and not seeing a head stone

Mom ended up with my father & his parents. So there was already a "stone" there so to speak. Flat bronze thingy flush with the ground not an actual headstone.. All they had to make was a bronze "ribbon" as they call it. This would just have her name & date of birth & death. Like maybe 4X8 inches. That gets affixed to the bronze thingy with my father & his parents names. That's what we've been waiting for since June.
