Lowes does it again...

I don't know about LI Lowes, but the ones up here are batting 1.000 when it comes to spring sale of Scott's products. It seems that corporate never gets the right info into the computer and today was the 3 year in a row things were FUBAR there.

Today, armed with their flyer that showed 4,000 sq ft bags of Turfbuilder Triple Action were BOGO and loaded up my cart with 8 bags. Got to check out and was charged for all 8 bags. Had to go to Customer Service to return the 8 bags and then repurchase. On the repurchase, I was charged for all 8 again. Had to wait 10 min a manager who could override things and set things straight. If it wasn't a $120 savings I'd have probably said screw it...

Every time for the past 3 spring seasons when I buy their Scotts Fertilizer Special like "Buy 1, Get 1 Free" or buy 2 and get 10% off, etc., the computer at checkout does not apply the advertised discount. Their cash registers are so rigid that the cashiers can't fix that and it takes a manager to override it.

Weird that's in that it only occurs with the Scotts products. Everything else like $2 bags of mulch works fine.
I'm almost starting to think they do it on purpose to see if people are awake...

bought ten bags of red mulch from BLOWES last weekend....more like brown...lierally had to dye it ...yes they sell dye for that.....they will compensate me...gotta call back tues
