the "What are you doing NOW" thread (part deux)

Don’t you just love saying things twice? What is it with those Patriot fans and have things repeated? I’m surprised you didn’t have to post your answer 6 times!!?

I gotta be doing' something wrong.........................

Sitting here smugly enjoying a single malt whisky in celebration of my first battery replacement in a sealed laptop. This is the 3rd battery for this unit, but the first replacement was under warranty. Each battery only lasted around 1.5 years, which is BS IMO. When I complained about the second one failing, they offered me a "wonderful deal" for my aggravation, 30% off the $500 service charge for a battery replacement!!! That was enough activation energy for me to get over my phobia of pulling laptops apart. I Googled the technique for disassembling my unit and decided to give it a go. The KEY for newer laptop or cell phone disassembling is a set of plastic "Edge Tools" which allow you to gently pull apart the cases with no damage. You can buy a set for like $2 bucks so I got that, along with a replacement battery for a total bill of < $40, just over 10% of the "bargain price" of having the manufacturer replace the battery.

So $40 and 20 min later I'm sitting here with a smug grin and and enjoying a lovely cocktail while catching up on NYA...

And you can be enjoying a nice doobie and be totally legal. Wow.

Regrettably, I have yet to "grow my own" and even though we voted to legalize it in Nov, 2016, Augusta has yet to figure out the regs regarding recreational sales.

I'm definitely looking for some seeds come spring, this is nuts. You know what I'm going to miss? The old "stories" from the 70's: "This is a 'fine" Colombian, smuggled over the Andes stashed in a llama's azz" etc...

I’ve been moving soil all day?
Taking a shower and probably be asleep before 8:00

OY, I feel your pain Mike. Used a wheelbarrow to hump 10 yds of dirt and 10 yds of woodchips 3 springs ago. Now I buy off my neighbor for use of his frontloader tractor with a few bottles of his favorite poison instead, a much better proposition...
