I embrass crab grass..................

Doesn't require any watering, dog pee dosen't kill it, grubs don't eat it & if you've got enough of it - it looks great once it's cut. If they sold crab grass seed I'd be a customer.

I refuse to spend money to buy fertilizer and water the lawn to give myself more work just to pollute the groundwater that will leetch into the bay since I live close to the water ???

I agree,
I normally never put anything on my lawn. But once I kill all the crabgrass I won’t have it in the future. My yard is fenced in and once you clear it out it’s good. My last house my lawn was perfect for 20 years with only spring and fall reseeding.

I heard that also, once you choke it out with grass it goes away. You had to see the size of some of the crabgrass I was pulling out of the ground last week.
