Shades of reality. In my 2nd year of employment, a previous employee who had left the company to work for a competitor was sued for breach of the non-competition clause we all signed back then. Turned out this "PhD" had NEVER completed his dissertation and therefore did not have his degree. The next morning all of us newer hires were lined up outside our boss's office with our diplomas...
