I christened the new Ariens Deluxe 24 today. I have used snow blowers but this is the first one I owned. The thing kicked ass! I had a couple of drifts that were 20 inches deep and it dug right through them. The snow was dry but wind packed. The engine would bog down and strain a little but it kept on going.

I loved the exercise of shoveling by hand but I am not getting any younger. My shoulder would start to hurt and I could feel it in my back. I am not killing myself like I did last year again.

Even though it was marginally needed I used mine twice so far this year and all seems good
Only issue was me and my son sucked up our inflatable snoopy Christmas balloon thingy and that got caught up and tangled around the auger
