Not really getting out of hand. We let the first one traverse our whole country without doing squat. Shot it down after it completed its mission. Why wouldn’t they try it again?OK - this is getting out of hand............................
High-altitude object shot down over northern Canada
A high-altitude object tracked over northern Canada has been shot down over the Yukon, officials said.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said he ordered the takedown of "an unidentified object that violated Canadian airspace."
"Canadian and U.S. aircraft were scrambled, and a U.S. F-22 successfully fired at the object," he tweeted.
Canadian Forces will now recover and analyze the wreckage, Trudeau said.
The North American Aerospace Defense Command detected the high-altitude object over Alaska late Friday evening, according to Pentagon spokesperson Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder. Two U.S. F-22 aircraft monitored the object over Alaska, then Canadian aircraft joined as it crossed into Canadian airspace, he said.

Yep. Town of Huntington is now going densification. Wader you may remember corner of Pulaski Rd/Elwood Rd. Vacant lot adjacent to the power lines....town just rezoned and approved 400 units. 1/2 Mile west on Pulaski they just rezoned for another 200 units. Its a shit show around here with traffic I have never seen it so bad NPT, Greenlawn, Huntington. Going to get much worse. 2 houses on my block are up for sale another 3 have been sold in the last 6 months. use to live off of Elwood very near Pulaski in East Northport...
Know the area well. Shame what they're doing.
Lived in Huntington Village for two years as well in the mid '80's & Northport. They were all lovely areas at that time.

Make no mistake still a beautiful town. Just so much traffic its crazy. Here is an aerial view. Two purple highlighted areas are the 400 units (adjacent NPT High School) and 200 units (adjacent Harborfields HS) multifamily going is (all were originally single-family zoning.

This is a sad comment found all over. Before the days of Waze, my Illinois town sent a questionnaire out and one of the question asked if I did or knew of people using a residential street to avoid traffic. My answer was clear, "Is this a trick question? Of course I know of, and do that. So why not fix the problem?"

Unfortunately yes Dom. It’s a single two lane road with no sidewalks. The town traffic and safety dept puts up speed registers that flash, then a month or two later takes them down. I have slow down sign children at play screwed into the telephone pole in front of my house. Nothing works to slow people down.
If I told you who are the main culprits of speeding on this street, one might be shocked
