I stopped following TCM and even stopped tuning in to their station.

last few years the freaks involved in setting the schedule for movies chosen on certain Holidays seam to go out of their way to not show related movies, it’s blatantly ridiculous.

i always enjoyed how they did it better than any other network, showing off some of the best classic movies on the day of the specific holiday.

Sad for me since when I would check the guide, TCM would be the first channel I would look into for the morning, Afternoon and evening. I no longer do that.

Now I stream or load one of my CD’s.

The Beach Boys earned four GRAMMY nominations for 1966 for their No. 1 hit "Good Vibrations," including Best Performance By A Vocal Group. Wilson won his first career GRAMMY for 2004 for Best Rock Instrumental Performance for "Mrs. O'Leary's Cow."

I was at the Rose Bowl when the Beach Boys did the halftime show at Super Bowl XXI, Giants-Broncos.
What a game, their halftime set had hundreds of California girls dancing in bikinis.

Hard to believe they didn't broadcast the halftime shows back then, very disappointed when I watched the VHS tape I had set up to record before I left.


Ahhhh....did some Googling. pregame show was the Beach Boys, that explains everything.
