Term limts for politicians certainly would. Although one could argue that there is a mechanism for that already.

However, they chose to make these appointments for life for a reason.

Selfish how? The founders didn't end up making a career of judgeship.

It was intended to avoid the influence of petty partisan politics and transitory public sentiment. You know, like what we see today. Using the court to push an agenda instead of adhering to the constitution and the law.

Like everything else, it doesn't work perfectly, since activists get appointed instead of objective jurists, but I'll take the risks of that vs the short-term convenient.

The provocateur strikes again.

Thomas has been subject to unsubstantiated accusations and attacks because he rejects the left agenda.

It's particularly egregious because he chose to walk off the Democrat plantation and doesn't appreciate all the good work of the covert racist advocates that would do such good things for him if he'd only understand how wonderful their righteous intentions were.

They said it's not a federal issue.

Abortion is a medical procedure. Make it illegal, the choice is taken away.
And you're right. It doesn't only affect a woman's body. It effects the rest of her life.
