Headed out for a quick morning trip with an old co worker. First stop was the bridge where we were met with a steady west wind and outgoing tide. After about 20 mins capt decided to head to the state Channel (never been for fishing) but seemed the whole fleet was working that area. Stayed there till end of trip. Not even a sniff on my rod, tried everything from bucktail/ teaser, to just a single plain Jane hook and finished with spinning set up with just a jig head and a gulp grub on it. Think there was a total of 3-4 keepers for about 20 people.

Glad you got out. Hope the bay heats up soon.

I think its a matter of just finding the pockets of warm water right now. I figured going in the channels and catching the outgoing would be good for that. O well, next time!!
Agree, but beginning to wonder about the migration of fluke into the bay, that is how big of a migration is it? Amounts of fish.
