The kids are out. Finished the chores. We have a dinner tonight with my wife’s parents but some time to spare. Hmm?

Quick visit to Drift 82. Quick drink and some food to get us to dinner. And the bartender impressed as my wife wanted a drink from the summer menu one week early. Staff was told to eat watermelon so no traces were left when the manager took inventory. Lol.

One of the best lobster ? bisques and some lump crab cakes.

looks great D, i wish i could enjoy those strips, it’s off limit from now on…

btw, not to be insulting, wen i cooked for the crowd in vermont , i found it easier to cut the bacon in half and fry…

? it browned the strips more evenly & easier, than having the outside of strip undone, give a try… cellfish … ?

What a meal ! I’m stuffed.
Crabs steamed in old bay from John’s farms in Plainview. ( delivered fresh every day at 10 am) I had to wait many times for showing up to early)
My baked clams, clams on the 1/2 shell , grilled leeks and perfect grilled ribeyes.
