I used to just dump a gallon of bleach in tghe pool once a week. Maintained it prefectly.
1 gallon per 10,000 gallons of pool water.

Late father-in-law taught me that 25 years ago..

Kept the water clear & the PH in balance.

In the "old days" there used to be a formula on Clorax bottles for that. Never had to add anything else other then the occasional chlorine tablet.

Having a much needed cocktail end of the day I was going to jump start an explorer on the side of the building Opened the hood looked down and was standing in a swarm of bees little fkers were mad I was stomping on their nest one got me on the retreat then 2 more got me when me n frank went back armed with carb cleaner to wipe them out

wow ...yellow jackets are teritorial and get pisssed. I stepped on a bumble bee this week in the back yard that stung me on the sole of the foot in the sweet spot no caluses....hurt like a mother' f'r....

it died shortly therafter. transparent stinger in the bottom of foot. put the cortisone on and had a shot of whiskey.
