It's a long haul up to the Granddaughter, but plenty of nice places up here to explore. I would strongly suggest doing it off season, it's just a nuthouse this year.

To be fair, one must keep this in the context of Lithium battery EV things, so there goes cell phones, computers, Roombas, Nest Security Cameras, wireless landline phones, car/boat jump starting battery packs, spare cell phone battery packs/chargers, USB headphones, USB earbuds... It goes on and on...

I was halfway through mowing the lawn, then the skies opened up. I kept on going, it felt great ???View attachment 65775

Was just channeling you Mike. Had "gowned up" in permethrin clothes & hat, slapped Malthon Ultrathon on "entry points" (Wrists, neck, waist, and ankles), and tucked my pant legs into my socks in prep to cut the "Lower 40", a chunk of the yard that I let go pretty wild and don't treat for ticks.

Last time I cut it sitting on the Zero Turn mower, I just sprayed Deep Woods Off all over and I ended up pulling 3 Dog Ticks off me, one of which started to burrow in. Wasn't taking any chances today, and after all that "Preop Prep", I wasn't going to let rain stop me from completing the mission. Lucked out and got the mower into the shed just as the rain started to fall...
