sitting on the back porch out of the sun & an eagle just drifted through the yard wings spread about 10 feet off the ground - freaked me right out........

I've had bunnies - dozens of bunnies in my yard - I suspect he/she was shopping

European Hornets - big f-erkers. I've been coming across them for the last two days working in the back. Suspect there's a nest somewhere back there. Killed 7 of 'em in the last two days using a short handle wisk broom (about the length of a baseball bat) by swatting them out of the air & then slamming them with the broom & finally usually hsving to step on them (twice) to kill it.

These hornets are found in 30 states, from the eastern U.S. as far west as Louisiana and the Dakotas. Little bigger then the Asian Giant Hornet (Killer Hornet).

May have to call in "the Bug Guy"

Found this lil guy on the inside of my truck door when I got to work Im guessing he got in there at my house when I picked it up it stuck to me I think its some sorta tree frog

Me either he had sticky feet or lil suction cups on them he was stuck to the inside of my door then stuck on my hand Looks like a grey tree frog

He was stuck in between the door and the dashboard only saw him when I opened up the door I wwas like WTF is that knew it wantt a normal frog sticking there

Say hello to my new pet Juvenile Greater Black Back Seagull, Jonathan Livingston. He's been in my yard every day for over a week and just the other day I was able to see what he's been eating, Earthworms??!!!

The interest thing is that he's in the yard at high tide, but not to be seen on low tide. I guess he's down looking for food in the marsh.
