Well first and foremost, I have to say the location I am staying at is absolutely amazing. And the 422 acre pond is awesome. Got our on a kayak for a little while today before dinner. Having never been here I was Leary I wouldn’t be doing much catching. This body of water has very little structure outside of the shoreline. Clean sandy bottom with very small spots with some grass and lillies. Well in one hour I caught 2 bass and dropped 4 with one being over 5 lbs. after he jumped in front of me and spit the hook.
This is definitely a place that needs more than a weekend to learn.. I WILL BE BACK!!

Nope not yet, I have to get to the deep water but that’s a hike in a kayak It’s at the opposite end of the lake. I might try this evening if I have time

No ? it wasn’t ready. We did a Airbnb on the Lake. This weekend the camper goes on its first trip. My daughter and her boyfriend are taking it to lake George wit about 10 other friends who also have campers. ??
I’m going to show them everything tonight on setting it up and using everything.
