beach storm damage?

Not inquiring about people on Fire Island who build on sand, but after seeing a video from Monday of my town's beach, with the usual late fall "seaside cliffs" gone and waves and foam crashing up onto the grassed dunes, wondered if the various pavillions and underpasses survived. I usually do the March dune grass replenishment but wonder if there will be an Ocean Parkway much less any dunes. 2 blocks north of Merrick Road, I am at 13' above sea level. My sons will inherit future waterfront.

I went on webcams this morning but it was at low tide.. Long Beach and Tobay lost some sand but not as bad as I thought after seeing that Monday video. Did I see the video of the Shinnecock locks here where the water was up OVER them ?

Gilgo yesterday

TOBAY beach webcam still operational/ watched a couple watching a metal detector guy walking in front of the pavilion so main underpass and some of the beach still OK. Robert Moses webcam not operational. Gilgo's shows dune grass in the foreground but no sand showing.
