here’s a typical “POMPANO” rig, I caught Jacks, Blues, Pompano on this set up…

I have a hard time understanding the “WIDE GAP HOOK” on the small mouth fish, Palometa too…

i usually change it out for a 2/0, J hook… cellfish…

here’s my friend Hal, from Hollywood beach… says the bluefish has made a comeback the last few weeks after a few poor years…

this (uncommon) brut 35” was caught on this 50* morning… poor winter weather for snowbirds may have helped the bluefish comeback… cellfish…

haven’t been doing so well here at Boca Raton Beach, 25 miles north of port everglades… the sand is rearranged in favor of fish… my past efforts Hollywood Beach is a hot spot on shinny spoons, the big three, “Jacks, Bluefish and Snook” are biting regularly… last season was a bust…

gonna try throwing some bait on other side of bar today… cellfish…
