Never had shrimp on a pizza, had clam, anchovies and even lobster….not shrimp but will try.

It's excellent - if making yourself cook the shrimp before adding them to the pizza - you only wanna add 'em when the pie is pretty much done.

Add the cheese, top with the shrimp return it to the oven & basically turn the oven off & let the cheese melt.

Remove. Slice. Eat.

Otherwise you'll over cook the shrimp.

there are a few other things I've seen on the pizza down here that I have the same reaction to:

• pulled pork
• BBQ chicken
• Buffalo Chicken
  • and a few others too gruesome to mention

But then again - for the most part local pizza is terrible. Which is why I end up making my own or going for supermarket pizza which believe it or not is superior to most of the product being offered. I had one good pizza shop right here in Town for about 6 years but the owner (who was from Commack) retired last year due to health concerns. Since then it's been a wasteland.

shrimp is in the same genre as pizza as it is used in a lot of Italian Dishes - pineapple is a fruit & therefore not a good pizza topping - you can like it on your pie - but don't call it pizza - ham works

Ive seen some of the stuff you put on Pizza your one to comment on anything put on pizza. And that reasoning for shrimp on pizza could be one of the dumbest things you ever posted
