strange to say that without giving it a try....................Ive seen some of the stuff you put on Pizza your one to comment on anything put on pizza. And that reasoning for shrimp on pizza could be one of the dumbest things you ever posted

here pizza not good most places down here,,,,,,wagon wheel not bad,,,,,,,,,,,,, but i do make my own with fresh PUBIX pizza dough,, not bad,,,,,,,,so last nite i made a pie with chicken cutlet,, sausage,,onion..mushrooms,, spinach from the garden,,,fresh parsley,,fresh oragino all from garden...could not catch any anchovis in the lakes down here

I was in Milan in 2005, sat down at the pizza parlor, accidentally ordered a pie with anchovies. very salty, Way too salty actually.
definately - spent a little time in Rome in the '80's & thought the same thing - as a matter of fact - ALL the food was great!
