Coronavirus

Too many coincidences......

Alina Chan (@ayjchan) is a molecular biologist at the Broad Institute of M.I.T. and Harvard, and a co-author of “Viral: The Search for the Origin of Covid-19.”
It's a catch 22.

You need to replicate a virus in a controlled environment to find how to treat it.

Note that the bill has nothing to do with Covid-19.
It does not prevent you from wearing a mask to stop spreading your germs or catch someone else's.
It specifically exempts people who wear masks for health, safety, “religious or cultural purposes, or for the peaceful celebration of a holiday or similar religious or cultural event for which masks or facial coverings are customarily worn.”

Your right. They never did stop the spread “proven fact” so they should have omitted that exception. “Note” that these are the exact same people that made you wear one that presented this. Now being Monkeypox (mpox, they renamed it, was too racist) was just declared a global public health emergency by the WHO. I’m guessing when the libs riot again they’ll let the masks slide.

Just when you thought you would never catch the china virus:
the gods prove you wrong.
While visiting our brother in law in the hospital and accompanying my sister in law, SWMBO came home with scratchy throat, hip and lower back aches. Coughing the next day. The Tuesday he passed, my wife did a self test and yup, the little red and blue lines. This past Wednesday, two days after SWMBO tested positive, I get the same scratchy throat, start of chest congestion and the ache in hips and lower back. I finally tested positive this morning, a Saturday, obviously catching it from her as I never got to the hospital. We were both rather sceptical of more booster shots and stopped with that nonsense almost two years ago. Maybe because we did have some of the shots early on neither of us has what we would describe as more than a bad cold. And maybe we would not be any worse off if we never did have any of the shots in the first place.
SWMBO's doc not a fan of paxlovid. At this point I am already coughing less, runny nose replaced by congestion and little in the way of aches and pains. SWMBO seems to be following the same course, me being two or three days behind.
With what we hope are full recoveries, I guess we will be immune from getting it again for a few months ( ? )

I think we are going to celebrate Thanksgiving a couple days late this year. Except for a small turkey, we didn't even get any of the other usual veggies, etc. yet.

Glad you both are ok

Thanks...so far so good. We are both very tired along with the aforementioned. Wondering if we should refrain from taking OTC meds like robitussin and tylenol or go all in on them ( ? )

Glad you guys are ok. I would say no reason not to use those items. Mucinex always worked better for me than Robitussin.

If this is your first time and you guys missed being told by your doc specifically not to come in if you are sick and to go to a walk in clinic to be treated like cattle standing around outside in the rain? You missed out.

actually I had bronchitis returning from a cruise in 2021 and they told me to come and tested me in the office parking lot. I was negative for the chinese, went in with the PA, and got some prescriptions including an inhaler. My wife and I have a husband and wife MD team and they actually treated sick people in person, as incredible as that sounds, during the china virus days!

Did they help when you had covid?
Obviously they did not help the Covid, but they helped prevent secondaries like bronchitis and pneumonia by keeping things from settling in.

I was a 3 time Covid Champion!

Also used D-Hyst to keep the sinuses clear.

Glad you're both okay. Hopefully the strains are getting weaker. In general, it does appear people are bouncing back faster with less lingering effects. Whether that's the vax or not,... though to say.

Glad you're ok P.

Covid was spreading like wildfire through rehab and Nursing facilities back in September - October.

It's no longer a news story so you don't hear too much about it these days.

Libs leaving for Europe and Canada put the china virus way off the front pages lol. Seriously, while i still feel like i am getting over a bad cold, emphasis on getting over, we never lost taste or smell and joint aches only bad the first two days. I got both red and blue lines on my test this morning. Yay me.
