Yes , but they should be green. The diesel I mean.I'm going to go out on a limb here and say they're color coded to prevent misfueling.
Yellow is probably more expensive because of the lower production volume.

I love when I drive my outboard to the gas dock and the high school kid asks "gas or diesel?"
I would guess, no matter what boat pulls up, he has been instructed to ask.I love when I drive my outboard to the gas dock and the high school kid asks "gas or diesel?"
Sounds like a bad gasket, if it's the new type of gas can their are several gas can spout replacement kits available on Amazon that will let the new cans function just like the old ones that didn't make a mess.Does anyone know of a 5 gallon gas can that does not leak from where the spout screws to the can? Every time I use one I have to wrap a rag around the neck to keep all the gas from spilling on the ground.

This one has the replacement spout. I have changed the gaskets. I have tried O-rings ect. I have checked the surface of the can's opening to make sure it is perfectly flat. I have two cans and they both leak!Sounds like a bad gasket, if it's the new type of gas can their are several gas can spout replacement kits available on Amazon that will let the new cans function just like the old ones that didn't make a mess.
