They don't get it, do they? Worked all day in the yard wearing shorts & a T-shirt. Walked 100 yds to the dock to take a few casts, jeans, long-sleeve shirt and a jacket and I was a little cold

You get it, but others may think Don was joking, especially if they see today's high temps for Maine cities. My "Hood" just made it into the 60s and that's occurring right now!! The ocean surface temps are still in the mid-40s here; it's are one hell of a heat sink...
