Whats going on in the World

President Donald Trump has been flamed live on air for letting Vladimir Putin ignore him over Ukraine seven times by a senior member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

Senator Jeanne Shaheen, the ranking member of the committee, put Trump to the sword on CNN, telling host John Berman that Putin wouldn’t respond to anything other than “strength and pressure.”

Shaheen’s hawkish rhetoric stems from a pair of fruitless summits, first with Putin and then with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the sum of which currently amounts to nil in the quest for a ceasefire.

Asked by Berman what she believed was the “current status” in the peace process, the veteran Democrat Senator for New Hampshire said: “President Trump has now allowed Vladimir Putin to blow through seven deadlines that he has set since he came into office. And he’s continuing to allow Vladimir Putin to play him.”

Putin traveled to the U.S. in August, where Trump rolled out the red carpet, welcoming him to Anchorage. Trump left the meeting, telling gathered reporters, “We had an extremely productive meeting, many points were agreed to, and there are just a very few things left.” Five days later, Russia launched 574 drones and 40 missiles at Ukraine, one of the heaviest bombardments in weeks.

Meanwhile, Trump’s original 50-day ceasefire deadline expired Tuesday.

and the beat goes on.............................................

@cany

So as far as you're concerned he hasn't set deadlines for Putin in which everyone has come & gone without him doing what he threatened to do if they weren't met. And that - as most of the world can see - Putin isn't playing him for the rank ameture he is?

Is that correct?

The Department of Homeland Security described the ruling as "a win for the American people, the rule of law and common sense."

"This lawsuit was never about the environmental impacts of turning a developed airport into a detention facility," DHS said in a statement. "It has and will always be about open-borders activists and judges trying to keep law enforcement from removing dangerous criminal aliens from our communities, full stop."

(Reuters) -U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. plans to announce that use of Kenvue's popular over-the-counter pain medication Tylenol in pregnant women is potentially linked to autism, contrary to medical guidelines that say it is safe to use, the Wall Street Journal reported on Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Kennedy, in the report, will also suggest a medicine derived from folate called folinic acid can be used to treat symptoms of autism in some people, the WSJ reported.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services said that until the final report is released, claims about its contents are speculation. "We are using gold-standard science to get to the bottom of America’s unprecedented rise in autism rates," the spokesperson said.

This charleton should resign before he gets people killed...

Pro-Trump New York Post Shreds RFK Jr. In Brutal Editorial: ‘Paranoid Kook’

The New York Post editorial board on Thursday went scorched earth on Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

The usually pro-Donald Trump tabloid — owned by conservative billionaire Rupert Murdoch ― flamed vaccine skeptic Kennedy’s appearance at a tense Senate hearing, during which he was ripped by lawmakers over his vaccine policies.

Kennedy made it “crystal clear” that he “won’t be restoring sanity to our public-health bureaucracies, desperate as the need is,” the Post wrote.

In fact, it slammed him for coming off “as a paranoid kook connecting red strings on a whiteboard.”

“America needs agencies like HHS and CDC moving toward a sane center, where decisions are based on data-informed evidence,” the editorial concluded. “The more Kennedy opens his mouth, the more obvious it becomes that letting him call the shots is just trading one extreme for another.”

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but yesterday, Florida's Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo said the state will be working to remove ALL vaccine mandates for children entering school — a practice that scientists say has helped diseases like polio move toward eradication.
