MSNBC is reporting that Tom Horman was caught on tape accepting $50,000 in CASH as bribes from undercover FBI agents. This investigation was started prior to Trump taking office. Horman reportedly promised lucrative contracts to venders looking to cash in with the mass ICE deportations planned that Horman said he would be in charge of.

Charges could not be filed until, if and when, Horman was indeed appointed to head up ICE and followed through with his crime, and betrayal of the American people.

Shortly after Trump taking office Blonde Bondi, and bugged-eyed Patel closed the investigation saying it was a “deep state probe.”

And they have Horman on tape accepting $50,000 CASH

This is Trump’s America.

Hey cell, nothing in particular bugging me, mostly bored I suppose. I was never a big fan of the Anglers Lounge, although I am probably the originator of the MEGA thread which was an Anglers Lounge type thread, although I started it in the General Fishing. Boredom is being probably brought on because I really can’t use the boat right now with all the improvements being made, and the end of season rapidly approaching. Soon enough my focus and posts will once again be on fishing the NY offshore & inshore waters, along with other general boating.

I don’t know why you say…… “wishful thinking on impeachment….. especially after failed 2X”. He was impeached twice by the house, and that will forever be recorded by presidential historians.

I am not MAGA, nor am I a liberal. I have been a conservative Republican probably much longer than most people who will read this. I only switched my registered party affiliation to Independent when Trump ran the first time. I cut my teeth in the construction industry back when Trump was cutting his. He was despised by many as he stiffed one contractor after another and bankrupting his companies. Listening to him on the radio pretending he is Donald Trump’s agent, taking out a full page ad in the NYT calling for the death penalty for the Central Park 5. I can go on and on with his cons. But to what point? People minds won’t change………. But the times will.

I believe that at some point my Republican Party will return. Trump has turned politics upside down, and has deeply devided the country. Although there are many intelligent Trump supporters he preys on ignorance, bigotry, and the uneducated. Without that MAGA base which on its best day represents maybe 40% of the population, he would only have a roughly 10% “normal people” base.

Frump’s presidency is beginning to fall apart. His latest fascist grab for power in attempting to limit speech with those who won’t say nice things about him is not being accepted well even by his a$$-kissing republicans. Even his own rigged Supreme Court will not go along with his dream of becoming a fascist leader. Deep down inside he’s a plumb little draft dodging frightened person with some deep emotional issues.

He will lose the mid-terms, and not only will he be impeached again, but this time he will be removed from power.

Yes, the Supreme Court is rigged, although it’s lawfully rigged, and should be changed.

There is a movement underway with several different recommendations as to how a Supreme Court might be put together. A couple of important ones that I support would be to put term limits on Supreme Court Justices, and remove the responsibility of presidential appointments. It’s a rigged system in that a president only need to be “lucky” that either a justice step down or die, and they can “rig” the court. Years ago a justice was appointed because they were deemed to be a fair and impartial individual, who understood the law. That is not true today. There is also no real accountability today for the justices. If there was Clarence Thomas probably would have been impeached.

And many see it as rigged with Gorsuch,, Kananaugh, & Barrett, all Trump appointees, all walking a fine line of not lying during the confirmation process citing Stare decisis, meaning in Latin, to stand by things decided. It is a well known fact that one of the most important virtues Trump holds to his appointments is above all else, be loyal to him and carry out his whims. I would loved to have been fly on the wall when Trump interviewed them. We know from Comey, and others, how those conversations go.

He was acting on behalf of the President Obama, who happened to be a very intelligent, thoughtful, respectful, and honest man who engaged others to help formulate the U.S. international direction, and diplomacy. Biden was following the direction the U.S. wanted to pursue. Was he a bit dramatic in describing the the events, and how they took place? Yes, a bit, but that’s his style.
