Waiting for my Pluming/Electricity/HVAC Guru to arrive. Turned on the heat for the first time yesterday with no problems, but after about an hour The Admiral reported a strange groaning noise coming from the basement. I went downstairs and the circulator pump from the boiler to the HVAC heat exchanger was groaning. Emailed and called my Man that I probably had a bearing failure in process...

An hour later the groaning went away, and there was cool air coming from the vents. Went downstairs again and almost burned my hand when I put it on the pump, but noticed that wasn't the case when I grabbed the pump's outflow line, so it was definitely tits up. Emailed my Man a picture of the pump and he emailed back that he would be here 1st thing in the morning.
