The life of an over the road trucker

I would always come back 2-4 am and leave 12 am. Hate traffic so much I pass on city work for lower paying island work when I’m not with my regular drill crew. Currently it takes almost 3 hours if you leave 1st Ave and 39th st in Brooklyn to Hicksville if you left Brooklyn at 2pm. Between all the construction unions getting off at 2pm and city cutting 3 to 2 lanes in Dumbo, Brooklyn is a parking lot all fucking day. Then you get on LIE which is always fucked 10 am to 10 pm, fucked to 32. Then there’s the fucking immigrants…
