On the (maybe) plus side; high tide this afternoon wasn't crazy high. And at low tide, right about now, there's been decent recession.

So hopefully, peak high around 2:00 am won't cause significant flooding. Northeast winds should probably help keep the boat off the dock too.

CBBT closed to truck traffic due to wind....

this is a 20 mile bridge with 2 tunnels that cross the Chesapeake. Would not want to be on it in these conditions at night - did it once before about 8 or 9 years ago - would never do it again

one truck went over last week due to wind - driver lost

And that last gust was strong enough to lift even my fat ass over the fence! Wife and I were talking and could not hear each other when it ripped through. Wow. 50+ MPH easily.
