So once again the Jets are making choices that are ridiculous. We gave up a 6th and 7th round draft pick for interception king Geno Smith. Could it be sixteen years without making the playoffs

I agree. Maybe Frank Reich knows something we don't? Even with all their draft picks they are in a tough spot. They want to rebuild but their coach will be canned if they don't produce now. Maybe 7-8 wins with Geno?? I have a hunch the next head coach is Reich.. Been rooting for them since they were the Titains. Frustrating to say the least.

Scenario is set. Jets tank. Get #1 pick next season. Arch Manning is #1 pick and refuses to go to Jets ala his uncle!

I'm gonna have a real tough time watching them this year. There are a few quarterbacks out there I have less respect for. How could they do this to Jet fans? Too many other options out there. They have so many picks and then they do this. That guy needs a lot of time to throw the ball. Needs a lot of targets to throw it too. I hope the plan is that he's their backup. Then it's not a bad deal for three million. I will not be watching.

As frustrated as I am, I am going to give Mougey more time to right this ship. He has made some good moves to acquire the draft picks. Let's see how he uses them. Three million for Smith allows more cash on hand for free agents.

Yes. Let's pile up draft picks so we can pick another Ken O'Brien or Blair Thomas or lest I forget our most recent success Zach Wilson.

As far as the coach goes, what top coach would take this job? Mougey had to take a chance on a rookie head coach. Maybe Glenn is not the man. If they struggle again this fall, look for Reich to take over. It is a process. For the Jets, a decades-long one.
