Whenever you use the phrase "economically feasable and socially just" in your mission statement, you lose all objectivity and eventually credibility.

I would interrupt “economically feasible” as a good thing in that it says to me the expense should not exceed the result? And “socially just” means to me a fair deal for all the stakeholders?

In any event I think they do tremendous good and wouldn’t throw the baby out with the bath water.

This video is geared more towards the commercial fishermen. That said, if you spend enough time offshore you will have some sea turtle encounters. Although I have never encountered a sea turtle in distress, I know some others that have, and helped them out cutting away entanglements, etc. The information contained in this short video prepared by NOAA you may find useful one day.

I know a postal investigator. They do a lot a good work you wouldn’t believe the amount of mail fraud going on in this country. And they handle many other issues protecting the public.

I'm sure. The IRS has their own police force too. So does the MTA, NYC Transit and NY State Parks. Where does it end? DMV? NYCHA? Weights and Measures?

So what’s the alternative? What do you propose we can do to stop crime in areas which require intimate knowledge of how these crimes are committed?
