Had a fox come to the front door last night.

Sorry, no pics, but saw a Bald Eagle flying over All American in Massapequa when we were bringing Avenger Jr. home from campus.

The irony was not lost on me.

Avenger Jr. was concerned about what appears to be a juvenile Mourning Dove while he was mowing, but it looks like it's just doing its Duck And Cover and holding perfectly still.

It did move around a bit after we were all done, so I @$$ume it's okay.

Hopkins was hanging around most of the day too. Left town for the mowing, but the pull of the Hydrangeas was strong with this one. Then he moved over to the patio and started chowing down on the weeds.

You go Hopkins. You go! Finally a yard pest that works for me for a change.

I have a few babies in my yard now,

I've got a young Robin around too. It's gotten big enough now that I think it has a good chance. Their mortality rate is awful.
