Gouging all over yet people still go there for gas

Well up here you don’t have 4 different gas stations at every intersection. The nearest gas station to this Mobil is several miles away. And you’re not going to save any money going to any others as they are all about the same price up here.

Yup, it’s all a bunch of chit to gouge people where they can. I especially love…..……. “Local Factors” where “neighborhood income” helps to determine how deep they are willing to reach into our pockets.

This War will end up helping the oil industry and they're gouging us. The countries involved aren't charging more for the oil, the oil companies are.

I payed about that same price in Freeport the other day. Now 70 miles north up where I live the local Mobil station is just under a $1.00 more a gallon at about $4.65 IIRC. Makes no sense to me other than they are just gouging us up here.

It'll be around $4.65 a gallon next week when I go up to my land and cabin in Central NY. I often thought about why the gas prices are higher the further you get away from Downstate . Every gallon has to be transported hundreds of miles and they gotta pay a driver. I'll make a pitstop at the BJ's in Orange Country on the way up and down. If I lived up there , I would have a car that got 75 miles to a gallon and store the Pickup Truck until the Winter.We're so use to local driving on Long Island that's usually under 10 miles, people upstate frequently have to drive very long distances.
Upstate NY has a gazillion gas stations selling ethanol free gas and down on LI we have a handful ? Stewarts is a big gas station up there.
