what will the storm do to the fishing?

I was checking the weather and see tomorrow is nice and planned to fish with friends.
What will the storm due to the fishing?
I spoke with a few of my friends today fishing the eastern Sound and as expected bottom fishing was still off a bit. However, they did report a decent bite on Bass and Blues.

I plan to do a little prospecting myself tomorrow and will let you know if things have rebounded.

Bass picked up out my way. But no feast. May try to get out this weekend, if anything, to change out gear and shake off the cobwebs!

Explosive bite today. East End nothing under 20. Multiple 35++not saying where.
I wouldn't call the action I saw explosive but it was nice and steady.

First trip after the Nor’easter and I should have guessed the fish that enjoys the rough stuff the most showed up in good numbers today. For the middle 2 hours of flood, I decked 6 Bass in the Gut with a chunky 29” taking the ride home to my dinner table.

Also boxed 3 keeper Sea Bass during slack water while waiting for the ebb to start. Strangely the Bass bite was quiet on what is usually the preferred tide in the fall. No matter, just happy to get out again and catch a few!

Yesterday inshore cod by me were biting OK, but the size was unusually large for inshore. We caught 6 that would be keepers, and the 2 of us each kept one at 28", nice fat females full of Jonas crabs and baby lobsters in their bellies. Had to move around trying to lose baby pollock hitting our teasers. Finally gave up on the teasers and go straight jigs so we could get to the bottom for cod.
