That phone also made a good self defense weapon; weighed a ton! We also had a party line with a stranger, I can rembrer my Mom arguing with this stranger about who was ‘hogging’ the line.

I have try a rewind the tape and remember some more memories.
 
WhatKnots first owned nautical ride. 1960 ish 19 foot Crestliner Cuddy IO, 1 ABC as I recall since I had to replace it. Fond memories fishing and other stuff in the Cuddy. :)

Can’t find any pictures but I do recall sitting in the back of one of my Fathers cars with a blanket hanging, on a rope, strung across the back of the front seats.

it's simply decor Don - decor....................

Had an empty wall space - saw this in an antique salvage place - fit the bill - bought it.

Store also had one of those big red phone booths from Britain - fully restored & functional. No place for that & the price was a bit extreme - north of $3000 as I recall. But cool as all get out............
