I live in this neighborhood for 57 years and I’ve never seen a turkey here. I’m not far from Hoyt Farm so I’m guessing that’s where it’s from

It is funny because my bother-in-law live on Raritan Bay on Staten Island and they're everywhere. They also have some of the biggest bucks I've even seen there.

Yes erree George my daughter went to Wagner collage so me and mom spent a far amont oftime crusing around Staten Island and HOLY SUGAR the amount of turkeys and the deer on the west side of the island blew my mind

I see them occasionally by the mall in lake grove.
In nissy there was a home on the bluff across from the charter school that had some that were mixed with white domestic. They also had peacock up till last year. I'd hear them from way out on the bay.
Caleb Smith has quite a few.

I live in the Pine Barrens right at the end of Middle Island. These things are like pigeons over here. They roam the streets and gather in flocks in the backyards flying over fence after fence as the feed.Miller Place rd has roundabout and they gather there in big numbers. Most mornings especially in the fall I here them in the woods across the street and find them on my front lawn in the morning. To tell you the truth I don't mind because they eat ticks so what the heck.

That ids the roundabout on Miller Place rd Miller Place there are usually a large flock that feeds on that little patch of grass and they nest just a couple hundred feet or so south of there
