Another great part of rural Maine are the dirt roads, which are called "Gravel Roads" here. Since you can't possibly keep a clean car if you live on one like me, washing a car is one of those chores you just don't do anymore.

Used to love it when my BIL from CT would come to visit. He'd come to our house and immediately moan, "Crap I washed my car before I left and now look at it!!" "WTF would you wash your care BEFORE you came up here??"

Now he lives up here and he too is driving dirty cars, LOL!!!

LOL - no, but that is a quite popular past time around here and since there are so few well-maintained paved road, they all have an extra layer of rubber on them...

So my wife got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom around 12:40-12:45.....5mins later my turn. Lay back down and not even 8mins go by i hear what sounds like massive rain storm from the living room thought windows were left open, strange i don’t hear water hitting the window AC. Jump out of bed to find water pour/gushing through the ceiling in my kitchen.

Lay back down and not even 8mins go by i hear what sounds like massive rain storm from the living room thought windows were left open, strange i don’t hear water hitting the window AC. Jump out of bed to find water pour/gushing through the ceiling in my kitchen.

These are those industrial type wood floors. I’ve beem the crap out of these floors and they hold up well. Water didn’t sit on the floors long enough anyway.
