This is really cool real time graphic analysis of the storm. You can check the wind speed/pressure etc... at different altitudes. Check the ground speed winds at 10M, 100M, 1000M above ground (left side navigation) etc and then hover over the hurricane in different locations

 
NDBC Buoy around 30 +- miles from the eye reading 45Kt gusting to 57kt as of 12PM.

I just heard on VHF 16 that there was a water spout reported by Robert Moses State Park. The did not say ocean or bay.

Heavy downpour in Freeport on the Nautical Mile. Some claps of thunder too. More coming according to the radar.

Dorian is likely to miss Florida and then skirt the Outer Banks as a category 2-3 dying Hurricane. Then it will recurve well out to sea and just leave big waves for our area.

Florida dodged a huge bullet. A few days ago, models had it as a category 5 heading right into the Fort Lauderdale to West Palm area.

A front crossing the USA saved Florida. If the front were 12-24 hours slower, what you are seeing in the Bahamas would be over mega populated cities in Florida.
