Money CANNOT buy everything. Just saw something about a Ferrari customization studio that opened in Manhattan that lets buyers customize many aspects of the car, like seat thread colors, leather colors, caliper colors, car colors, etc. It jacks up the price of a $350K car to $500K or so...

However they do set limits. When the reporter asked if there was ever anything that they refused to do for a customer, the Salesman answered in a very suave Italian accent, "Of course! We will not make a pink Ferrari!" BRAVO!!

I guess I'm very old school. Cars that should only come in one color are Ferraris in Red, Jaguars XKs, MGs and Triumps in British Racing Green and Lamborghinis in Black, etc.

Had a J*A*P classmate in HS whose Daddy bought her a brand, spanking new Mercedes 350 SL convertible for her 17th birthday in Barbie PINK!!! OY VEY!!!! On that very day I swore I would never buy a Mercedes because of that crime against humanity. I've stuck to that resolution over the years!!
