the "What are you doing NOW" thread (part deux)

i just hope your not jumping the gun...???

I've got enough to hold me for at least another month...

Had bought one of those 36 roll packages from Costco earlier this month - then grabbed two more packages of 10 each when Walmart restocked two weeks ago when this all started. So around 50 rolls or so. It's only me here so that should be good until this madness ceases,

not a ad idea but don't get a newspaper & I haven't gotten that desperate yet - but I'll keep it in mind................
Not as uncomfortable as everyone seems to think but i had used it b4 when i was wearing the green. Old phonebook pages too bit they are definitely not as soft. From what you said you easily have a three month supply or more !

No, that is what abbreviations are for. C'mon, I'm as old as you AFAIK.

spelling it out takes like what? another 4 seconds?

Possibly because I don't text?

Used to drive me crazy when I was still working. I would get emails from the youngsters in the organization & they's type it like they were texting. Abbreviations everywhere.

I see stuff like PSM? on an email. WTF does that mean. I'd have to call back & ask what does it mean. She'dd say Please See Me. I'd ask why didn't you just say that? Reply: it saved time & was faster. I'd then have to point out that:
  1. this is a business - you need to communicate clearly &
  2. how did you save time when I had to call you & ask what you were getting at? It would have been quicker to just type what you were trying to communicate because we just spent more time then it would have taken to write it out trying to clarify what it was you were saying.
She worked for me. She never did that again.

Easy there pequa1, have to respect those less fortunate than yourself. Some folks around here are extremely technology challenged and new fangled things like ripping CDs, using abbreviations, complaining about large pictures of young lovelies in the GM thread, etc., leaves them STFH, while we can LOAO while ROTFF...
