Guess the VA Gov would have to either shorten the "Stay At Home" order duration, or lengthen the recreation and entertainment business ban to align the two. Talk about mixed messages!!

Virginia extends order closing recreation and entertainment businesses, banning large gatherings

Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam said Wednesday he is extending an executive order closing recreation and entertainment businesses and banning large gatherings until May 8.

The original order was set to expire next week.

Northam had hinted earlier this week that an extension was coming after models of the virus’ spread projected new cases would hold steady over the next few weeks.

“We will continue to monitor health data in the meantime to determine what needs to happen after May 8,” he said. The governor added: “Things are not going back exactly how they were before. We’ll work together on creating a new normal.”

Separately, Northam’s stay-at-home order remains in effect until June 10. Speaking to reporters, Northam said, at this point, he doesn’t intend to extend that order, and it could be rescinded earlier than that, but any decision he makes will be based on data.

Just curious if you or any member of your family take any medicine for high blood pressure? Maybe high cholesterol? Possibly diabetes ? If so you or any member of your family better stop because we are herd animals and Mother Nature will kick your dik in when she doesnt get her way. We cant let big Pharma give us this medicine it is just a way for them to control us. So please for the love of god Tony STOP taking those meds that will prolong yours and your families life. Let the natural order of things take over. Wouldn't the fact that we can create the medicine for those ailments be a way of us changing nature?

It just so happens that for this "nature event" the medicine or treatment is isolation and shutting down all unnecessary things.

So if Im reading this right If Im in direct contact with the public (anyone that doesent work here?) I have too wear a mask but if Its just the guys who work here in the shop Im in contact with I dont have to wear a mask?

Stop making it so easy
some things you can do , some you cant
but it all going to come back to the same thing

sometimes you amputate a leg to save the body

but you never kill the body to cure a hang nail


there will be a price to pay there always is

my better half was to get her second cataract done the week after the shutdown started. still waiting. fortunately she had a set of eyeglasses made with a non-prescription lens made.

The percentage of increase is a lie

you could quadruple it all out of China it would still be a lie
 
Call my co-worker because we are alternating and I don't see him...How's it going? " Well my nephew died this morning (44 and healthy) and 8 people in his small church". He is part of an India community and many are health professionals and getting hit hard. His own wife is a nurse and get this...in a county jail!!! So he is terrified and rightfully so. The fact that essential workers still out in public getting hitting hit hard proves that isolation and shutdown was the right thing as hard as it is on us.
 
We need to go by numbers from Europe that we can trust to see what happens as we progress in unwinding the shutdown from here. There is no doubt that we must get the ball rolling or at least try, but this is going to be a problem going forward. We cannot even verify that if you already got it, you won't get it again.
