Coronavirus

These numbers don’t add up or warrant this

sure ppl lives will be saved

great

saved for what

all of our ruin
The ruin of our kids and grand kids future

sorry
Not interested
Ahh nothing will get ruined will take time but life as usual with less dead bodies

Your 100 percent wrong
It’s doing exactly nothing
But placating the sheep
but that’s what they want
When the real losses in jobs and business pile up
In a year

then you’ll get it

Until then we’ll argue the point

The odds are pretty good that you'll only have a mild reaction, not including the sick and elderly..

guess your going to need to learn the hard way

the equations not going to balance
Way to much emphasis on compassion
Not near enough or fiscal reality

but what can you expect out of a liberal crap hole like ny

Yup your way much better open up everything let more people die Hell Im sure your boats will be packed with people who know you dont care if they get sick and die But hell your making money right so thats what matters?

You miss the point

this isn’t about me , or my business in general

it’s a much broader view

Once again
My wife earns a good salary and will have her job when it’s over

my business is poised and ready to ride this out till 2021 if that comes to pass

this is about the destruction being done to the city
They country and the world in general

we’ve made a bad bad trade off and for a very very tiny percentage of the population of the world

the needs of the few can’t outweigh the needs of the many
And this is exactly that

To date they've been doing a good job here in RI.
Total deaths would have been like 6 hours on a bad day in NY

The destruction would of been worse if NYS didnt shut down what they did guess you dont see that

From the Post:

The tests show 2.7 million in New York state have developed antibodies through exposure. Meaning, with 16,000 COVID-19 deaths, the state’s mortality rate is a little less than 0.6 percent. Nowhere near as lethal as the dire 3.4 percent death rate the World Health Organization was billing early last month .

Of course, every death is one too many. But what we have seen over the past two months is that computer models are unreliable when it comes to predicting the future, and the premise we agreed on to vaporize 25 million jobs exaggerated the risks.

We know now that 64 percent of those who have died in New York were aged over 70. Of patients hospitalized with the disease, 94 percent had underlying conditions such as obesity or diabetes. Did the models include a scenario in which we focused efforts on protecting the elderly and infirm while allowing the young and healthy to keep the economy ticking?

The consequences of overreach are dire. The International Monetary Fund this week warned the coronavirus has plunged the world into the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. Famine, war and human misery are sure to follow.

Sure I see it and I agree it would have been worse

still not bad enough to do what we’ve done

That’s what your missing
Even at its worst ( and yea it would have been worse) you can’t do this
Because this is more destructive and will have longer lasting effects

I know it’s not the nice compassionate response
Lifes just not that nice or compassionate

So are you going out and about and testing your theory?
You going out regularly and interacting with others without any protection or precautions?

Yeah open everything let more die makes sense to me

And as soon as more things open I’ll do more things

In all reality I’ll more than likely head south as soon as things free up

I’ve no interest in living like this for another month
