2019 Western Sound Spring Bass run...

Going out tonight middle of the sound between rye and bayville let me know if anyone going to be out and wants to share info. Hope full moon wakes whatever left in water Last trip was orient point and caught about a dozen 30” strippers(safely released) Live eels each drift landed one and had to fight a lil through the blues biting them in half.

Good luck, I was going to go but now changed up for the morning 5am start. I heard the night bite was the way to go.
I bought me 10 pieces and have about 12 frozen from Tuesday to chum up some doggies.?
Hope I run into some fresh on the way out to the middle. I have 2 guys from work that I’m going to try and put em on something. We did nada on Tuesday morning with most of the incoming except dogfish and sea robins.

There are plenty of bunkers schools in middle of the sound One dogfish last night and other then that was pitch black and couldn’t see 2 ft in front of me. Headed back in early

Haven’t heard a peep. Was contemplating taking a ride by Bass Beach and strolling along the Cross Island, but with this crazy stuff going on I’m staying put.

If you were there Saturday morning, I probably saw you. Lots of markings, no bites for me. I had two Thursday. Nothing to brag about.
