Desperately waiting for the 3 Advils I took and washed down with a Margarita to kick in. Must be out of my mind, but I put on the waders and slogged through 1/2 mile of thick muck to go clamming and get oysters. If I just wanted clams, knee high boots would have been fine, but I wanted oyters too. Damn nice looking clams !! White ones look like they came from a sandy bottom. Decent growth rate on them as well !

Those rocks in a high current ...... the larva get caught up and end up dropping in the eddy. Some of the better grabs I have had (25'-30') long island sound have been next to boulders.

At my job we usually leave flashlights in the ceiling...not me...others

last year I found a pair of electricians pliers in the ceiling with the guys name on it who used to work here. His famous answer to "hey did you see my whatever" was Yeah It's where you left it!!! So I mailed it to him with a note saying if you are looking for these they were where YOU LEFT THEM....in the ceiling!!
