The never ending chat thread, chat about anything That your up too

C'mon tide!!! I'm sitting here killing time until I can get off the dock.

May have to make a "Prop and Skeg" cleaning escape; if I keep up posting my typical cynical bile, the General is going be considering a trip to the Cornfield for me...

 :ROFLMAO:

Do what we used to do on moon tides when I worked on the island current. Take a rowboat drop your boats anchor in it. Row out. Drop it. Make sure it’s stuck. Then winch yourself out.

About to saddle up the boat for a dusk sortie...

Wind still up so I aborted on using the boat, but I sashayed down there with much more than a "wee dram" of my chosen single malt to watch the sun set. Grabbed a rod and tossed out a popper and BAM, I was on. Caught 3 stripers and dropped a few, while sipping whisky and watching the sunset. Doesn't get any better than that...

Awesome (y) (y)

"Dram" is a measure of volume in Scotland, the "wee" is sarcasm. On the other side of the pond, proper Whisky is spelled without the "e", be it in Ireland, where the "Water of Life" was invented, or in Scotland, where it was "perfected"...

Billy Bob, Bubba, Festus, and Ray Bob added the "e" to their Moonshine "Whiskey" be it Bourbon, Rye or Sour Mash...
