Flaming Pie - MACCA
Haven't listened to this disc in awhile. Was inspired by all the hullabaloo over the newly released boxed set.
Some excellent stuff on this disc.
“It came in a vision,” Lennon once said, “a man appeared on a flaming pie and said unto them, ‘From this day forward you are Beatles with an A'”). And the guitar-snarling “The World Tonight” remains one of his sharpest solo singles; you believe Sir Paul when he sings, “I go back so far, I’m in front of me,” even if you don’t know what he means.

Recently bought new wireless Bose noise cancelling headphones for hearing protection during yard work, e.g. chain saw, weed whacking and mowing. These newer ones do an amazing job cancelling the noise, far better than my old 2nd generation ones so now I can listen to classical music while working.
Today it was Itzhak Perlman doing the violin concerto "Trifecta", Beethoven, Mendelssohn, and Tchaikovsky...

I have them also but I find them a bit small for my ears, gets uncomfortable after an hour or so.
There used to be 2 versions, one smaller "on ear" and larger "over ear". Not sure if this still is the case.
I got the over ear ones with zippo issues and I've got big ears.

I have the over the ears version, they work great with my TV and my Bose Radio. A bit uncomfortable after about an hour.

Interesting, I've always found the Bose the most comfortable over the ear headphones starting back in the 80s when I started flying overseas on business. I've literally slept for weeks with them on heading over to Europe and Japan. So used to over the ear headphones that I can't stand ear buds...

I should have noted that I find them a bit small for my ears, something that has mentioned in online reviews. My Brother feels the same, maybe it‘s a family thing.
Not noise cancelling, but I've found for the price and performance these are awesome.
