Awful out there today
Went out today, Tuesday 9/16, and it was blowing hard from the Northeast and it ruined the drift. 3 hours into incoming tide and I was still drifting west against the tide because it was very windy. ASMFC Striped Bass Draft Addendum III - Plain English Summary
When was the last time you saw the DEC stop a moving boat to search it ? I've been out there over 50 years and have never seen a moving boat get stopped. They putt putt around going from boat to boat. Poachers know that.- Pangaroo

Amazing how the Amish are taking over Upstate NY!
No excuse why she hit that buggy . You don't run into a buggy on an open road like that unless there was something wrong with you. The Amish where I am have to travel along winding tree lined hilly roads . People in rural areas drive way too fast and just like that I have a bunch of cars behind...- Pangaroo

If you only net one fish...
Pequa, did you ever consider getting stabilizers for your Kayak so you didn't have to worry about tipping over ? It would probably be more enjoyable out there. I had a Kayak and it was always a balancing act. I could swear some guys purposely sped up next to me in big boats hoping I'd tip over...- Pangaroo

Beautiful morning
It was very slow on Monday 8/25 inside Jones Inlet. In the next week or so I'm going out to Peconic Bay with my boat on a fishing marathon from 6AM to 5 in the afternoon . I was out there yesterday fishing from the Green Island Pier /3rd Wantagh all the way down to the Meadowbrook Bridge.
