Time too ride

Whats really a shame is that the building furthest to the west hasn’t reopened in a long time
That one sits up high so you can see the ocean and inlet clearly over the dune and the bay too
I guess at the end of the day its all about the ride for you guys no matter where you end up 😎

Took a ride to Nassau HD. Said hello browsed around and picked up a Mother Mary riding bell for the young girl who was killed on my street a couple of weeks ago.
Headed down to ocean pkwy a little drizzle then more rain north on the Robert Moses.
Stoped by her memorial her friends and parents made down the corner and placed the riding bell for her there.

Power-sports vehicle maker Polaris PII said on Monday it would separate Indian Motorcycle into a standalone company and sell a majority stake of the business to private equity firm Carolwood LP.

Shares of Polaris were up 11% after the bell.

The divestiture comes at a time when Polaris is looking to streamline operations as it grapples with weak consumer demand and tariffs. The company had withdrawn its annual sales and profit outlook earlier this year.

The transaction is expected to be accretive to Polaris' annualized adjusted EBITDA by about $50 million and to adjusted earnings by about $1 per share. The company expects the deal to close in the first quarter of 2026.

Carolwood has selected industry veteran Mike Kennedy to serve as CEO of the new independent Indian Motorcycle organization after the deal closes.

Kennedy has previously served as CEO of power-sports dealership group RumbleOn and aftermarket motorcycle exhaust systems maker Vance & Hines. He also spent 26 years at Harley-Davidson HOG in various leadership roles.

Indian Motorcycle was purchased by Polaris in 2011. The legacy motorbike maker, which made popular models including the Scout and Chief, contributed approximately $478 million, or 7%, of Polaris' revenues for the trailing twelve-month period ended June 30.

Polaris also said it expects third-quarter sales to be at the high end of its earlier forecast range of $1.6 billion to $1.8 billion. It now expects an adjusted per-share profit of 31 cents to 41 cents for the quarter.

The Medina, Minnesota-based company is set to report third-quarter results on October 28.

i sent back Eagle lights 1156 LED’s as I seen the two filaments in original bulb and had them ship 1157 style bases. Then popped the bulbs to see some asshole ground off a tab to make them fit. Had to email them again to send the 1156’s. What a PIA! Well all the tail lights (3 of them) strobe now with the brake light, all work as brake lights too thanks to a run/brake/turn equalizer $$$. Got the front white and turn yellow as they flash and also work like flood lights. Lifetime warranty on everything and made in Connecticut.

Was not sure last night if I was going to ride today had a massive migraine last night. Chevy invited me to the car show around here. Wolk up late at 9;30 texted Chevy and said lets go. Chevy stopped by this morning on the scooter, played with Mr. Bear in the driveway and we stopped by my office in Centerport, grabbed some fishing poles and wet the lines first at the Centerport bridge. Nothing biting and off we went to the Vanderbilt Museum for a Jaguar car show. Gotta say it was really cool especially the vintage ones and also a few MGB's and Aston Martins. I haven't been to a car show in a while, It was fun, and the views from the estate property overlooking Northport Harbor are amazing. Departed ways around 1pm.
Really enjoyable day great to see you Chevy!
