    Titanium Fishing Pliers

Like mentioned I have not used it but a member in my fishing club did and said it worked like a charm. Figured I’d post since it’s an alternative to expensive pliers. Tight lines.

Green crab soup and climate change

Lol. When I lived there, that was my go to place. Still a good B&T, not the same without Steve.

Green crab soup and climate change

My point exactly George. Just another segment of recreational fishing being squeezed. As far as eating green crab “bisque”, no way, no how!

Green crab soup and climate change

You cant make this up. Like the climate change for good measure at the end. New law looks to bring invasive species out of Long Island Sound and onto your dinner plate

    Couldn't Stop Myself

Whether Lund or Steiger, still see you pushing the envelope to get out there John! Was just up there for some blackfishing but was further west. Enjoy the reports now that I'm a lake fishing Carolinian. Be well, catch'em up.

Started out nice, nightmare at the end today

Both times it happened to my friends 30hp tiller etec it was a cooling issue. Once it was the water pump and the other time the thermostat. The engine goes into "limp mode" and does not let you throttle up in order to prevent overheating. Best of luck with the issue.

Sharks in the Long Island Sound

Reminds me of an encounter I had at Caumsett State Park about 30 years ago in late September. I was wading in the water about waist high catching schoolies stripers when I had something slam into me. All I could think of in that instant was a shark just banged into me to see what was for dinner...

Agreed. It was a parody of a certain line in Blazing Saddles. I kept it pg-13 for pc reasons.

Banning all charter and party boats from Marinas in South Hampton

George I’m not happy to see it happen. I moved out there in the late 90’s with a young family because it was affordable.I worked in the city (FDNY) and although the commute wasn’t easy I never minded because I loved what I did and loved where we lived. Anyhow I don’t want to derail the purpose...

Banning all charter and party boats from Marinas in South Hampton

Capt. Mike as a "leftover" you realize you live and work on the north annex of the south fork. This is my opinion, but over the last ten plus years and especially since covid there has been a huge influx of wealthy individuals who will pay whatever it takes to get what they want. Sorry to say...

    Last day of fluke.

Live peanut bunker on 1/2 to 3/4 oz. bucktails. Get a cast net, it's worth it. Free, live bait. Keep the faith. Tight lines.

    Life in the sound

Hey John. Kept my boat by Dr. John and next to Mike (Super Crabby) until 2019. Definitely wasn’t because a lack of bait at the Shoals it just seemed the fish stopped showing up. Prior, you could count on a good run of fish in June. Skinner always found them but it seems like from his videos (and...
